Yang Ming's loss widens in 2013

Taiwanese container line Yang Ming Transport Corp saw its 2013 full year results slumped to a wider deficit as operating costs rose and revenue fell.

Yang Ming registered a net loss of TWD2.9bn ($95.2m) in the year ended 31 December 2013 compared to a deficit of TWD1.6bn in 2012.

The Taipei-listed container line recorded revenue of TWD118.87bn last year, down from TWD131.4bn in the previous year.
