Talking with Seatrade Maritime News Editor, Marcus Hand, Anglo-Eastern’s Bjorn Hojgaard explains how as one of the world’s largest ship managers the company has dealt with the crew change crisis that has left hundred of thousands of seafarers stranded on vessels after their contracts end, or at home unable to start new employment at sea. He also discusses the need for a global solution to the crew change crisis by governments internationally and how Anglo-Eastern has used technology to overcome some of the problems presented operationally by the pandemic.
