Maritime catering management and training company MCTC has joined forces with ship and crew management company Intership Navigation to launch ISN Catering Powered by MCTC.

The new partnership will combine the two companies’ expertise to address the challenges seafarers around food by providing healthy and nutritious meal plans, culinary development opportunities and top tier catering support services, the companies said.

Seafarers report food as one of the main factors influencing their happiness onboard, with menu variety a particular area of concern. ISN Catering will ensure crews at Intership Navigation and sister company Donnelly Tanker Management receive high quality and nutritious food, tailored to the needs of multi-cultural crews, it said.

ISN Catering will enable the two companies to provide comprehensive catering management services, advanced training programmes, and initiatives tailored specifically to seafarers, it said, giving vessels access to over 3,000 recipes, four-week cycle menus, and guidance from expert Culinary Training Consultants.

Chris tian Ioannou, CEO of MCTC, stated, "Our collaboration with Intership Navigation marks a significant milestone in our mission to enhance the quality of life for seafarers. By combining our expertise in catering management and culinary development with Intership’s innovative solutions, we are set to transform the maritime industry and improve the life of seafarers."
