Cosco Zhoushan bags $54m bulk carrier pair

Cosco Shipyard Group has secured a contract to construct two 64,000 dwt bulk carriers, for over $54m.

The vessels are will be built at Cosco's Zhoushan Shipyard expected to be delivered to their Asian owner in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Last month a European buyer exercised an option for a 64,000 dwt dry bulk vessel at the same yard.
