Franbo Lines acquiring three bulkers

Taiwan-based Franbo Lines has announced it is adding three bulk carriers as part of its fleet expansion.

The three vessels, including two newly constructed 40,000 dwt bulk carriers acquired from a Japanese company and one 20,360 dwt bulk carrier acquired from a Panama-based company. 

Early this month, Franbo ordered two 40,000 dwt bulk carriers at Shin Kurushima Dockyard.

The newbuilds will comply with the latest environment protection and emission requirements and be delivered in 2023.
