Navios Taurus, delivered to Navios Holdings on September 17, is a 2005-built panamax of 76,596dwt, and will be operated on a six-month charter at $9,263 per day.
Meanwhile, panamax Navios Northern Star, delivered on September 19, is to be chartered for seven months at a rate of $11,400 per day.
The vessels make up the 51st and 52nd vessels in the Navios Maritime Holdings fleet, and the third and fourth panamaxes deliveries announced in two months. So far in 2013, Navios has contracted 92.7% of its available days on a charter-out basis, and as well as 25.1% for 2014.
