The orders, spread across Japanese and Chinese yards, comprise 11 ultramax dry bulk vessels of 60,000-64,000 dwt and four kamsarmax dry bulkers of 81,000-84,000 dwt, all due for delivery in 2015 and 2016.
Imabari Shipbuilding will deliver four of the ultramaxes, Chengxi shipyard will build three while Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Company and Nantong COSCO KHI Shipbuilding Engineering will each build a pair.
The kamsarmaxes are split between Imabari Shipbuilding and Tuneishi Group with two vessels per yard.
