Shih Wei Navigation posts slim Q3 loss

Taiwan’s dry bulk shipowner Shih Wei Navigation has seen its third quarter results reversed into the red from a profit in the same period of last year.

A small third quarter net loss of TWD110,000 ($3,360) was recorded, as against the profit of TWD59.44m in the previous corresponding period.

The loss came on the back of reduced third quarter revenue of TWD1.09bn, down from TWD1.18bn in the year-ago period.

In the first nine months, Shih Wei posted a loss of TWD16.73m as against the profit of TWD131.94m in the same period of 2014.
