Shih Wei registers lower profit in 2013

Taiwan's Shih Wei Navigation has recorded lower earnings in the financial year ended 31 December 2013.

The Taiwanese bulk carrier owner posted net profit of TWD353.43m ($11.72m) in 2013 compared to a gain of TWD725m in 2012.

Revenue last year, however, rose to TWD4.65bn from TWD4.13bn a year ago. Shih Wei registered operating costs of TWD4.11bn compared to TWD3.62bn in 2012.
