Scorpio Bulkers is continuing to sell off kamsarmax bulkers as it looks to refocus on the renewable energy sector.

New York Stock Exchange-listed Scorpio Bulkers announced the sale of its third kamsarmax bulker in two weeks. The company has sold the 2015-built bulker SBI Congo to an undisclosed third party for $18.4m.

The vessel is expected to be delivered to its new owners in Q4 this year.

In early August the company announced its plans to move into the offshore wind market with the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the construction of a wind turbine installation vessel, plus options, at Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME).
