CMA CGM shuffles Africa services
CMA CGM has rearranged its service between Europe and Africa to better serve landlocked countries by Through Bills of Lading.

Tangiers will remain the main hub for the French line's West African trades, with various routes connecting it to ports from the UK's Tilbury in the North to Namibia in the south.

Mathieu Friedberg, senior vice president African lines at CMA CGM, explained, "we are pleased to deploy 5 services which enable CMA CGM to continue securing its position as market leader on this trade. Reaching the heart of Africa with intermodal solutions in the land locked countries, we are proud to deliver at our clients' door."

The revised routes for the world's third largest container line will begin 13 December and employ ships between 1,600 and 3,500 teu, with a total capacity of 63,400 teu.
