The DMCA will be presenting initiatives to continue to build on Dubai’s status as an international maritime centre including the ‘Quattro Helix’ partnership between government, academics, the private sector and R&D institutions, It includes the Innovation Quay programme for marine equipment.
Amer Ali, executive director, DMCA, said: "We are delighted to be taking part in Nor-Shipping 2019, which is pivotal for our strategy to further raise Dubai's status as a global maritime centre.
“This is an ideal opportunity to exchange information with shipowners and other stakeholders from Norway and the rest of the world about the full array of initiatives launched by DMCA, and to meet senior representatives from other leading organizations based in Dubai.”
DMCA will also be joined by representatives from Dubai Maritime City, DP World, Drydocks World – Dubai, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre (EMAC).
