The new Oslo office is the company's second in Norway and aims to expand aims to expand the reach of its main office in the country in Tønsberg. Glander first expanded into the Norwegian market in 2016 when it acquired Scandinavian Bunkering in Tønsberg.
Glander International managing director in Norway Ole Rismyhr said: “Expanding into the Norwegian capital was a strategic decision for the company to serve more shipping segments in important shipping hubs like Oslo and Bergen.”
The new Oslo office will also be ready for the transition to IMO 2020 which is set to be a landmark event in the bunkering market.
“Operating in the heart of Norway allows the Oslo team to get closer to shipowners and personally guide them through this industry shakeup,” he said.
The new office will be staffed by Lars Brustad, Sverre Vetterstad and William Tandberg.
