Nakilat and Maran jv to expand fleet of LNG carriers

Qatar's Nakilat and Maran Ventures are adding another two LNG carriers to their joint venture.

Maran Nakilat, set up in 2005, is to expand its fleet of jointy owned LNG carriers from 13 to 15 vessels under a new agreement.

The joint venture will add the 159,800 cu m, dual fuel diesel-electric vessels Woodside Rogers and Woodside Goode built as Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering.
