Polarcus has a long-term agreement with the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO). Recently, TPOA took delivery of the Polarcus Samur, an 8-streamer 3D seismic exploration vessel, purchased from Polarcus. The vessel is to be renamed Barbaros Hayreddin Pasa.
Barbaros Hayreddin Pasa, which will be flagged under the Turkish International Ship Registry, with V.Ships’ crew consisting of experienced Turkish seafarers in order to meet flag requirements.

The vast majority of our crew have been with us in other similar projects in the Black Sea and other parts of the world as well, so we are confident that they will integrate quickly with the Polarcus crew onboard.”
