Alfa Laval to host seminars industry challenge at Nor-Shipping stand

Alfa Laval will be presenting its “Count on Alfa Laval” conference programme at Nor-shipping, a brace of seminars ranging from the challenges of dealing with legislative compliance to alternative fuel use and emission control area requirements.

Twice daily, Alfa Laval’s experts will “share insights and lessons learned on relevant topics, in an effort to promote dialogue and exchange with ship owners, technology providers, financiers and other maritime professionals about issues that affect ship profitability.”

The titles of the programme’s seminars include:

“PureDry – Customer response & business drivers” presented by senior business manager of Oily Waste Treatment Systems, Marine & Diesel Division Pauli Kujala;

“Changing fuel to meet ECA legislation is not as easy as it seems” presented by Oil treatment, Marine & Diesel Division application manager Geir Larum;

“Alternative marine fuels – Paving the way for tomorrow’s customised solutions today” presented by Roberto Comelli, business manager of Fuel Conditioning Systems, Marine & Diesel Division, and Johan Lennartsson, business manager Gas Components, Marine & Diesel Division;

“PureSOx – Installation and testing of PureSOx Inline” presented by  René Diks, manager marketing & Sales, Exhaust Gas Cleaning, Marine & Diesel Division;

“PureBallast – Providing insights to how Alfa Laval leads the way forward for Ballast Water Management systems” by speaker Anders Lindmark, general manager business Center PureBallast, Marine & Diesel Division;

And “New marine legislations are here to stay - How do our customers benefit from Alfa Laval Services in times of change” presented by speaker Peter Borgnaes, Nordic business unit manager/ Service, Marine & Diesel Division, Alfa Laval Nordic.
