Entries now open for the 34th edition of the Seatrade Maritime Awards

Nominations for the global maritime industry’s longest-running awards scheme are now open.

The Seatrade Maritime Awards will celebrate its 34th edition in Shanghai, China on 10 November where a select audience of maritime stakeholders will celebrate exceptional industry innovation, progress, and resilience.

A total of 13 categories are now open for entry, providing an opportunity for organisations and individuals from around the global maritime industry to demonstrate how they are contributing towards a safer and more sustainable, efficient, and diverse industry. Entries will close on Tuesday 29 August.

“Throughout its rich history spanning more than 30 years, the Seatrade Maritime Awards have been a steadfast supporter of the individuals whose unwavering determination, dedication, and perseverance have enabled the maritime industry to consistently facilitate global trade and address the evolving demands of our growing population,” remarked Chris Morley, Group Director of Maritime Events, Informa Markets.

“It is with immense pleasure that we unveil the 34th edition of the Seatrade Maritime Awards, and, with our Co-hosts, The Shanghai International Port Group, we are honoured to bring the celebration to one of the world’s leading Maritime Centres once again,” continued Morley.

The Seatrade Maritime Awards presents a diverse range of 13 categories, carefully curated to highlight noteworthy contributions from both the industry as a whole and individuals' personal achievements. To ensure transparency and uphold the esteemed reputation of the awards, eight industry experts will be assessing the entries via an independent panel of judges.

The Seatrade Editorial Board will undertake the responsibility of selecting the winners for the five Editorial Choice Awards. This process guarantees the credibility and integrity that define the Seatrade Maritime Awards.

  • Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award

  • Global Performer Award
