Roas discusses the need to serve seafarer origin regions including The Philippines, Indian Subcontinent, Greece and Eastern Europe, and the central role played by Hamid International in Doha, Qatar Airways’ home airport which offers a seafarer lounge. Seafarers can access the lounge where food, beverages, and refreshments are available along with showers, quiet areas, free wi-fi, and a business centre commonly used for making video calls home.
