Seatrade Maritime Logistics Middle East Champions Innovation

Held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Seatrade Maritime Logistics Middle East, the flagship event of the UAE Maritime Week, will spotlight innovation and new product technology at the forthcoming event to be held on 16-18 May at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The new Innovation Incubator theatre will feature a series of live pitches from aspiring maritime businesses to a panel of industry experts (SMLME ‘Lions’) in a bid to discover which new products and services are set to make the most positive impact on the shipping industry in the future.

Chris Morley, Group Director, Seatrade Maritime said: “Our exhibitors never disappoint when it comes to displaying new tech, products and services on the exhibition floor, so we thought this would be a great opportunity to bring some of the best ideas together. And what better way to get some real-time feedback than have a panel of eminent experts put them through their paces. It should be fascinating.”

The Innovation Incubator will take place from 2:00pm on Wednesday 17 May in the event’s Breakout Theatre. Immediately after the pitches, there will be an audience Q&A with the panellists.
