Ship management company OSM Thome has announced the launch of its new green service division Evigo at a customer event in Athens.

The division is tasked with helping shipowners to navigate environmental regulations and adopt sustainability solutions while remaining commercially competitive.

“Evigo represents more than just a new service offering – it’s a cornerstone of our vision for a sustainable maritime industry,” said Tommy Olofsen, chief marine services officer of OSM Thome. “With this initiative, we are reaffirming our commitment to environmental leadership, supporting our clients in adapting to regulatory demands while also championing solutions that propel the industry forward.”

Pia Meling will serve as managing director of Evigo from March 2025. Meling is currently managing director at ship recycling and sustainability services company Grieg Green, has previous experience with chartering and commercial management at Klaveness, and has held a range of board and management positions in the maritime industry.

“I am thrilled to lead the Evigo team as we tackle some of the most pressing challenges in our industry,” said Meling. “By leveraging the global competence of OSM Thome, advanced technologies, digital innovation, and strong partnerships, we will deliver impactful solutions that drive real progress toward a greener, more resilient maritime sector. The combination of data-driven insights and physical service offerings at scale will ensure tangible and measurable results for our customers.”
