Russia shipping company Fesco, China’s Best Ship Energy Management and Zhejiang Rui Neng Ocean Shipping Co have agreed to develop intermodal transportation for LNG in tank containers between Russian Far East and China.

Fesco will develop logistics schemes for LNG transportation in tank containers from the Far East to China. Regular inland routes will be used to transport LNG to the northern provinces of China, while the transportation to the southern and central provinces will be performed using ships.

The company is also ready to offer its rolling stock and fleet, according to Fesco.

China’s Best Ship Energy Management and Zhejiang Rui Neng Ocean Shipping will provide tank containers and cover LNG sale in China.

The three parties are also considering expanding the geography of joint LNG transportation to other Asia-Pacifc countries in the future.

Fesco is one of the leading transportation and logistics companies in Russia, and is a major port container operator in the Far East region.

Zhejiang Rui Neng Ocean Shipping is specializing on domestic maritime and international cargo transportation. The company is focused on transportation of LNG in tank containers.

Best Ship Energy Management, based in Chongqing free-trade zone, is focused on transportation of LNG for cars, vessels and gas stations.
