“During 2022, [Morgan Cargo] handled more than 40,000 tonnes of air freight and more than 20,000 teu of sea freight globally, managed by approximately 450 logistics experts,” the Switzerland-based company said.
The acquisition of Morgan Cargo is seen as a good fit for Kuehne+Nagel's perishables logistics services, and improves connectivity for cold-chain customers to and from South Africa, the UK and Kenya.

In addition to eight locations in South Africa, the UK and Kenya, Morgan Cargo also has offices in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Vitoria, Spain.
