China Merchants Energy Shipping and Changan Minsheng Logistics have inked cooperation agreement to develop automobile logistics.

“Both parties, through this agreement, would give play to their respective advantages in resources, improve the comprehensive capabilities of automobile logistics, through resource sharing and business connection, and co-create a harmonious ecosystem of automobile logistics, “commented Wang Yongxin, president of China Merchants Energy Shipping.

Wan Nianyong, General Manager, Changan Minsheng Logistics said: “China Merchants Energy Shipping and Changan Minsheng Logistics have maintained good cooperation in international automobile ro-ro shipping and supply chain logistics. we hoped that both parties would leverage the strategic cooperation to seize opportunities brought by China's surging automobile exports, complement each other's advantages, and achieve win-win development.”

Earlier this summer, China Merchants Energy Shipping ordered two methanol-powered 9,300 ceu ro-ro vessels as well as four options to improve its automobile transportation capacity.
