Forkliftcenter in new equipment and servicing deal with Grimaldi
Port equipment supplier Forkliftcenter has entered into a new partnership with shipping company Grimaldi Group.
The new agreement sees Forkliftcenter supply the Naples-based group with 59 different machines, ranging from converted skid-steer loaders into car pushers to heavy forklifts with special attachments. Delivery of the new equipment has already started.
The deal also includes the maintenance and servicing of the Grimaldi port equipment through Forkliftcenter’s service centre network in Europe, Americas, West Africa, the Middle East and Australia.
The new partnership is an extension of an existing working relationship between Forkliftcenter and Grimaldi.
“We first worked with Grimaldi over 10 years ago,” said Bjorn Andre de la Porte, CEO and owner of Forkliftcenter. “This new agreement, including maintenance and servicing, builds on that foundation and continues a strong partnership.”
“We are glad to continue and expand our cooperation with Forkliftcenter, in the mutual interest of both groups”, stated Mario Fuduli, Head of the Grimaldi Group Procurement Dept.
“Through this new agreement we will be able to further strengthen our cargo handling operations with state-of-the-art equipment.”
