IMI and Aveva extend digitalisation partnership

International Maritime Industries (IMI) and Aveva are extending their collaboration and partnership to accelerate digitalisation in the shipyard.

The IMI joint venture yard in Saudi Arabia is set to be fully operational in 2023 and is collaborating with Aveva to enable a digital transformation of the shipyard’s processes and facilities.

Fathi K. Al-Saleem, CEO of IMI, said: “The maritime industry is increasingly prioritising and integrating the digitalisation and automation of operations. IMI will offer a range of technologically advanced, high-quality sustainable products and innovative lifecycle management services for customers at internationally competitive prices.

IMI is a joint venture comprising Saudi Aramco, Bahri, Lamprell, and Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).
