The EPS Accelerator was set up in 2019 with Techstars and has brought in a total of 18 start-ups. The nine start-ups in year two of the programme will be taking part in a Demo Day on 25 February.

Explaining why the company set up its own accelerator Claus Nehmzow explains: “EPS is aiming to be one of the leading innovators in the maritime space and one of the best ways to that is probably through something like accelerator.

“What we provide with the EPS Accelerator is the commitment of one shipping company to the start-ups that are part of that.”
