In a recent survey, only 12% of supply chain professionals said that they were using AI within their operations.

This is a very small amount but when you consider that 60% in the same survey said that will be using some form of AI within the next 5 years, we are about to witness an explosion of intelligent technologies being integrated into operations.

Why are we witnessing this shift towards AI?

AI can bring unprecedented levels of improvements, accuracy, efficiency and value into supply chain operations.

The AI debate takes on more significance when you consider the impact that COVID-19 will have to supply chain operating models in the future, where we have seen the acceleration of digital technologies exponentially introduced into operations.
