UASC entering North Atlantic trade with CMA CGM and Hamburg Sud

United Arab Shipping Corp (UASC) is entering the North Atlantic trade through a partnership with CMA CGM and Hamburg Sud.

The vessel sharing agreement will see the three lines serving the trade from North Europe to the US East Coast. The service will call at the ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Le Havre, Southampton, New York, Norfolk, Charleston and Savannah. The service will start in the third week of May.

“This announcement marks an exciting new chapter for UASC as we enter the North Atlantic service and further cement our position as an emerging global carrier,” said Jørn Hinge, president and ceo of UASC.

“Broadening our network coverage through partnership agreements is an integral part of UASC’s ambitious expansion plans.”
