GMS bags trio of jack-up barge contracts worth $46m
Dubai: Abu Dhabi based Gulf Marine Services (GMS) has won three new contracts for its E-class jack-up barge GMS Endeavour.

The contracts bring GMS's current commitments to $460m.

The self-elevating, self-propelled E-class barge has recently completed wind farm installation and maintenance projects and started one of the new contracts with Keppel Offshore and Marine. The remaining pair of contracts with ABB Group and Siemens will keep the vessel occupied through until the second quarter 2014.

The niche dynamic position class 2 (DP2) barges can accommodate up to 150 people, need no anchor handling support and can move at eight knots.
