The Norwegian maritime technology and equipment company is expanding in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. The new office in DMC was attended by Jens Eikaas, The Ambassador of Norway, to the UAE.
Amer Ali, Executive Director of Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) said: “We are proud today to see that the Dubai maritime industrial strategy is gaining momentum and attracting such distinguished maritime manufacturing and services provider as Kongsberg to Dubai.
“I am confident that this addition will further enhance the quality, excellence, and leading position of Dubai maritime sector on all levels.”
Hamed Hassan, senior manager of registration & licensing, DMCA, said: “DMCA will continuously assist international companies to ensure that they are able to optimise all our quality initiatives, which include the Dubai Maritime Virtual Cluster launched to build an integrated portfolio of maritime services in order to attract foreign investors to the emirate.”
