LogiPoint inks agreement with Aramax for operations hub in Jeddah Islamic Port

LogiPoint has inked a deal with Aramex to build and operate a new ground operations hub in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

LogiPoint will construct “built-to-suit” facilities with a built-up area of 20,000 sq m in Jeddah Islamic Port.

Farooq Shaikh, ceo of LogiPoint, said: “This agreement underlines LogiPoint's vision to act as the enabler of the logistics industry, reinforcing our ambition to grow into the Kingdom's leading logistics parks developer and operator.”

Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Alnowaiser, general manager of Aramex in Saudi Arabia, said: “The Saudi market is a vital arena for Aramex, and today’s agreement supports our continuous efforts to keep investing in our operations in KSA, further develop our service offerings and enhance the overall customer experience

The agreement was signed in the presence of Saad Al khalb, the president of Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI), Aamer Alireza, vice chairman of Saudi Industrial Services Company – SISCO, and Abdullah Al Zamee, director general of Jeddah Islamic Port. The agreement comes in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NDLIP).
