EU naval forces have been overflying the pirated fishing vessel where 11 of the crew Albedo are believed to be being held hostage.  

Photos posted on the EU Navfor's website, taken from a helicopter, show  that Naham 3 was lashed to the Albedo’s superstructure, astern of the sunken ship. Aerial photographs showed men apparently pointing rifles at the helicopter.

According to reports quoting UN and humanitarian organisations 11 of the crew are alive and being held on a pirated fishing vessel the Naham 3 on the Somali coast next to where the Albedo sank. The whereabouts of the remaining four crew from the Albedo is unknown although the Maritime Piracy and Humanitarian Response Programme is said to have received reports of them being held further inland.

The Naham 3 had 28 hostages on board when it was pirated in March of last year.
