Topaz bags $100m Azerbaijan Caspian contracts
Topaz Energy and Marine has announced it has won two offshore supply contracts with BP in Azerbaijan worth around $100m.

The five year contracts with options will be served by a 3,300 dwt PSV and a 4,000 dwt PSV; one will be deployed this year, with the other joining in the second quarter 2014.

The dynamic positioning level two vessels will support BP's Azerbaijan offshore fields Azeri–Chirag–Guneshli (ACG) and Shah Deniz 2 and will bring Topaz's total Caspian Azeri fleet to 26 vessels.

"These contract awards for additional vessels in Azerbaijan reflect BP's commitment to our long-term working relationship in the growing Caspian market and their confidence in the reliability, quality and capability of our vessels and our seafarers," commented René Kofod-Olsen, ceo, Topaz Energy and Marine.
