The finalists have been announced for this year’s Seatrade Awards – which is also the 30th anniversary of this prestigious awards scheme.

The longest running and most respected awards of its kind – Seatrade Awards take place on 29 June 2018 at The Landmark London and will be attended by more than 300 of the maritime industry’s most powerful influencers.

Corporate Social Responsibility Award

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category has been judged by readers of Seatrade Maritime News. The winner will be announced at the Seatrade Awards ceremony and saw some strong entries from: APL, ASPIDA, Clean Cargo Working Group (CCWG), Colombo International Container Terminals Limited, Costa Crociere S.p.A, DP World, GoodShipping Program, Gulftainer, Lankhorst Ropes, Magsaysay People Resources Corporation (MPRC), Maritime Anti-Corruption Network, Pacific Basin, Sea Transport Solutions Ltd, TGM Fleet & Consulting Services.

Also to be announced at the Seatrade Awards are the Personality & Community Awards. Nominations for these awards are invited from the international business community and the winners chosen by Seatrade.

Personality of the Year 2018: Awarded to an individual who has made a major contribution to the shipping industry in any field.

Lifetime Achievement Award 2018: This award is to honour an individual who has made a significant and lasting contribution to shipping and the maritime industry.

Global Performer 2018Sponsored by DP World: Awarded to a company or organisation that has made a major contribution to the shipping industry in any field.

Young Person of the Year 2018: Presented to an individual under 45 who has made an outstanding contribution to the industry.
