China's second largest state-owned shipping firm has named Xu Lirong as Li's successor.
Li, who is 63 years old, has past the retirement age of 60 for China's state-owned firms.
Zhang Guofa will then replace Xu as the company's general manager, according to the Shanghai-listed shipping group.
