The new office is a joint investment by Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers and Cosco Shipping (Europe) and will be engaged in routes operation, market development, customers caring and on-site ship services.
Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers said that the new office will support the company to optimize shipping routes layout and coordinate regional sales resources in Europe, and to develop high-end heavy lift and bulk cargo market locally. Additionally, the new office will be important for the company to develop Atlantic shipping routes.
The company started trial shipping service to Atlantic region in the second half of 2018, and launched the official service for Atlantic in January 2019.
Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers operates and manages of more than a hundred vessels, including multi-purpose and heavy lift vessels, semi-submersible vessels, pure car carriers, logs carriers as well as asphalt carriers. The scale of its specialized shipping fleet ranks it as the largest in the world.
