Thuraya in service partner agreement with Elcome

Thuraya Telecommunications has inked a service partner agreement with maritime technology intergrator Elcome.

Under the agreement Elcome will Thuraya’s products and services worldwide. Elcome supports all the all the major shipyards in the Middle East and provides 24/7 support for over 1,200 terminals under the connectivity services programme for leading container lines and LNG carrier owners.

The partnership is expected to drive growth in Thuraya's maritime segment offering more customised solutions.
