CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering inks order for world’s largest LNG bunkering vessels

Nantong-based CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering (CIMC SOE) has bagged an order for up to six 20,000 cu m LNG bunkering vessels order from Stolt-Nielsen Gas.

The contract includes the order for two firm LNG ships, and additional order for two plus two vessels.

The 20,000 cu m LNG bunkering vessel will be the world’s largest LNG bunkering vessel, is able to transport LNG and provide bunking service for other ships and terminals.

CIMC SOE is experienced in LNG ship design and construction, the company had delivered six multi-purpose 27,500 cu m capacity LNG ships.
