Cosco bags $265m in offshore contracts

Cosco Corporation has won contracts for four offshore vessels and one jack-up rig, with a total value over $265m.

A Chinese company has ordered two deepwater platform supply vessels (PSVs) at the group's Dalian Shipyard and a pair of anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels from Cosco Guangdong Shipyard.

The four vessels, whose contracts total RMB590m ($96.2m), are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2015.

Cosco's Dalian yard also secured a $170m contract for one Jack-up drilling rig, due for delivery in Q3 2015, from a European customer.
