Rem Offshore delays newbuild OCV at Vard by two years

Rem Offshore has delayed delivery of an offshore construction vessel (OCV) being built at Vard by two years.

Rem Offshore ordered the OCV in June 2014 for NOK800m ($91.2m) with delivery scheduled for first quarter 2016.

In a statement the company said it had agreed with Vard to delay delivery of the newbuilding until first quarter 2018.
