The two newest sisters will be given an extended fuel capacity – from 10,000l to 18,000l – for longer offshore range.

The first of series of 21m crew transfer vessels, Njord Advocet, completed its first charter on the Greater Gabbard wind farm off the coast of Suffolk (UK) and will join her sister vessels off the coast of Germany.

New deliveries Njord Puffin and Petrel have just arrived in Europe, having been completed last month.

Citing the yard’s other projects, including 18 large crewboats, two 45m ROPAX Ferries for the National Ferries Company in Oman, and an Offshore Support Vessel for the Australian Customs, Strategic’s executive director, Ron Anderson, said: “We are full steam ahead on newbuild projects and we are driving forward our ‘off the shelf’ inventory of in-demand vessels to reduce client waiting times.”
