Alam Maritim extends barge contract with ExxonMobil

Malaysia-based Alam Maritim Resources has won a contract extension from ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc on an accommodation barge.

The extension of the contract has been effective from 1 February for a period of 12 months at a value of approximately MYR58.8m ($17.69m).

“The contract is expected to positively contribute to the earnings and net assets of Alam Maritim for the financial year ending 31 December 2014,” the Kuala Lumpur-listed offshore services firm said.
