Alam Maritime wins $23m five-year contract for an AHTS

Malaysia-based Alam Maritim Resources has been awarded a contract valued up to MYR71.5m ($23.2m) to supply a anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel.

The company told the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange in a regulatory filing that the contract with an undisclosed party was expected to commence in the second half of this year for a five-year period with an option to extend for another two years.
