GE Shipping buys newly-built PSV

The Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) has signed a contract to buy a 2015-built PSV.

The 4,000 dwt PSV is scheduled to join the company’s fleet during the fourth quarter of this year. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Mumbai-based GE Shipping currently owns and operates four PSVs, nine AHTS vessels, two multi-purpose support supply vessels, six ROVSVs and three jack-up rigs.

The company also has one mobile offshore self-elevating jack-up rig under construction in the UAE.
