GE Shipping sells AHTS vessel

The Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) has announced the sale of a AHTS vessel to an unnamed buyer.

The 2009-built, 7,080-bhp AHTS vessel Greatship Akhila has been delivered to its new owner, according to Mumbai-based GE Shipping.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

With the sale of this offshore vessel, GE Shipping and its subsidiaries currently own and operate five PSVs, eight AHTS vessels, two MPSSVs, six ROVSVs and four jack-up rigs.
