Silk unit picks up $6m vessel services contract

Silk Holdings, through its Jasa Merin unit, has picked up a MYR21.2m ($5.7m) contract from Vestigo Petroleum for the provision of marine vessel services, the company said in a stock market release.

Silk said Jasa Merin had been awarded the contract from Vestigo for the provision of marine vessel services to support Vestigo’s drilling programme and production for the Tembikai field development.

The contract, which will commence from the third week of June, is for an initial period of two years.
