The two jack-up rigs, to be deployed in the North Sea, are scheduled to be delivered between 2016 to 2017, according to Shanghai-listed ZPMC.

The deal comes with an option for the two rig buyers to order two similar rigs based on the F&G JU-2000E design.

Last month, ZPMC won an order to build a deepwater derrick lay vessel for Petrofac.
