AD Ports orders cranes from ZPMC for international port projects

The Chinese port equipment provider Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (ZPMC) has inked letter of intent for the supply of new cranes AD Ports Group.

Under the agreement ZPMC will provide nine quay cranes and 23 RTGs for AD Ports Group’s ports in Egypt, Angola and Congo-Brazzaville. It is the first time for AD Ports entering into the African market.

Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO of AD Ports Group, said that the group is committed to improving the infrastructure layout and innovating technological solutions. Signing of the contract is a milestone in the cooperation between the two sides.

You Ruikai, Chairman of ZPMC said, “Shanghai Zhenhua is accelerating the high-end oriented, smart, green and internationalized development to comprehensively improve the equipment manufacturing service ability. The company will further deepen the mutual benefit and collaboration with AD Ports.”
