Maqta Gateway, the logistics arm of Abu Dhabi Ports (ADP), has signed an agreement to digitally transform truck logistics passing through the emirate’s Khalifa Port or Abu Dhabi International Airport.

A Memorandum of Agreement has been signed with Abu Dhabi-based TruKKer, the region’s first and largest digital truck booking marketplace, to integrate operations using Maqta Gateway’s digital logistics solution platform, MARGO.

Dr Noura Al Dhaheri, ADP head of digital cluster and Maqta Gateway ceo, said the move “further accelerates our drive to transform Abu Dhabi’s broader trade and logistics landscape in line with our government’s strategic vision.”

She continued: “Our collaboration with TruKKer streamlines the complex needs of trade across the entire supply chain by leveraging MARGO and TruKKer’s best-in-class logistics solutions to better meet the demand of those who seek to trade goods and services with the UAE.

“By facilitating increased trade through leading-edge integrated digital transformation, Maqta Gateway is aligning its capabilities with the requirements and expectations of today’s customer allowing user journeys become better, faster, smoother, more secure, more predictable, and less expensive.”
