Anhui Zhongzhuang Logistics investing in two cargo berths

Chinese transportation service provider Longzhou Group announced that subsidiary Anhui Zhongzhuang Logistics is to invest RMB110.76m for the construction of a logistics park facility and two bulk cargo berths.

The project includes the construction of two new 5,000 tonnes-class bulk cargo berths with an annual handling capacity of 1.2m tonnes annually, and related facilities in Ganghou logistics park developed by Anhui Zhongzhuag.

Construction is expected to take 12 months.

Anhui Zhongzhuang Logistics is expanding its services for port and terminal operation. The cargo berth project will further improve the service capacity of Ganghou logistics park and optimise local cargo transportation facilities, said the company.

Ganghou logistics park, located at the lower reaches of Yangtze river, is the major project invested and developed by Anhui Zhongzhuang. It has already built three 10,000 tonnes-class berths for bulk cargo transportation.
